My approach to AI Art

Similar to my exploration of photography and watercolor, my experimental approach to artificial intelligence art that started in early 2022 revolves around a dialogue with the medium, understanding its responses, limitations, and potentials; this time including its rapid evolution. My creations seek to challenge cognitive judgments, advocating pure appreciation and sensory immersion, transcending definitive conclusions and ethical biases towards technology.

I conceive these artworks as native digital, yet deeply anchored in the lineage of their visual art’s ancestors.

My first AI art collection, The Generative Garden, featuring 10 still life images printed on paper, is the result of a months-long dialogue with the AI algorithm about plants, their colors, symbolisms and textures, and the centuries-old tradition of admiring flowers in visual arts.

These digital-native images, crafted entirely in the digital realm, are conceived to bridge into the most real and high-quality materials as their ultimate destination.
